Working Student GTM Engineering (10-15hrs /week)
Join Unikraft as a Working Student GTM Engineer (10–15h/wk): Code, automate, and prototype AI-powered workflows with a founder-led, collaborative team.
We usually respond within a day
The cloud is broken: It’s wasteful, slow, awfully expensive, and burdened with legacy tech that wasn’t built for today’s workloads. At Unikraft we’re building a generational, truly millisecond-native, extremely scalable cloud platform that provides exponentially higher efficiency.
Our team consists of some of the best systems, performance, and security geeks out there, backed by top investors with category leaders as our customers. We believe a focused team of exceptional people, moving fast with conviction, can rebuild the cloud from first principles and make extreme efficiency available to everyone.
What you’ll do and why it’s worth your time
This is a rare chance to see the inside of a venture-backed deep tech startup and watch go-to-market engineering get built. You’ll work directly with our founding GTM Engineer (technical background, CS degree) and GTM lead (ex-founder, commercial and technical background).
You will be working on implementing cutting edge GTM plays that we develop in tandem. That means scripting, automation, API integrations, and building small tools that make our outbound, enrichment, and campaign workflows faster and smarter. If you want to ship bigger things and grow into more, there’s room for that too – we are growing fast!
What You’ll Own
Automation & Scripting
Write Python or TypeScript scripts to automate repetitive GTM workflows like lead enrichment, campaign data pipelines, contact hygiene, and more.
Some familiarity with n8n, which we use in many processes.
Build and maintain integrations between tools via APIs (CRMs, outbound platforms, data providers).
Set up lightweight automations that keep the outbound engine running without manual effort.
Prototype AI-powered workflows that reduce the manual overhead of running high-volume campaigns.
Small Builds & Side Projects
When you have the appetite for it, build self-contained tools or features end-to-end with real ownership.
Contribute lightweight admin and systems tasks that keep the team’s infrastructure tidy and reliable.
What We’re Looking For
Scripting ability in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript: You don’t need to be a senior engineer, but you need to be comfortable writing code that runs.
Solid understanding of APIs: You’ve worked with REST APIs before and know your way around docs, auth flows, and debugging responses.
Strong experience with AI and Agents: You've been in the deep with claude code / opencode and can leverage them effectively, maybe hacked something together at a hackathon. You’re not just using LLMs in chat.
Basic sysadmin comfort: You can navigate a terminal, run a script, manage a small process without hand-holding.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (any technical field).
Why you will love this team
Elite founders, real access: Work directly with globally recognized deep tech founders who’ve spent careers at the frontier of systems and cloud research. You’ll learn more here in a few months than most people do in a year.
See GTM from the inside: Watch a venture-backed startup build its commercial motion from the ground up - campaigns, funnels, tooling, and everything in between.
World-class product: A category-defining technology that sparks genuine excitement with developers.
Zero bureaucracy: Founder-led, product-obsessed, and deeply technical.
Fully Remote, Fully Flexible: Work from your favorite place, at your most productive times. ~10–15 hours per week, with room to do more if you want.
